My Bio
My pen-name is James R. MacAdie. The "R" stands for Robert. I am a Nova Scotia born Canadian citizen of Scots-Irish, Welsh, German, French and British descent (mostly Scots-Irish, though). Yes, I have a kilt, and frequently wear it with pride (in case you want to ask, the tartan is Fergusson of Athol).

I am an aspiring novelist above all else. But I am also a traditional media visual artist, a dancer, a martial artist, a soccer (football) player, a singer, a musical composer, an instrumental musician (I play the electric bass guitar, as well as electric guitar, acoustic guitar, keyboard and piano, and Latin and African percussion), apprentice audio tech and DJ, an active seeker and promoter of grass roots, indie, unsigned and low-profile bands and musicians, a self-proclaimed eclectic fashionista, an historian*, a genealogist*, a geologist*, an astronomer and theoretical astro-physicist* (*by hobby), a generally intellectually minded person, a philosopher and thinker, a human rights activist, a sort of "90's-style hipster", a gamer, and a highly androgynous/epicene "new man" type of guy.

I was born in Nova Scotia, Canada, on July 13th, 1983, at 8:04 PM ADT to a father of Scottish and Irish descent, and a mother of Welsh, German, French and British descent.

Lately, I've felt the need to be honest and out-coming about my choice of faith, rather than hide it from the world in fear of those who might persecute. Such was not the way of my ancestors; if there would be someone to persecute them, they stood and faced them in the open with courage, vigilance, and tenacity. "…we should exert ourselves at once to drive him out as our enemy and a subverter of his own rights and ours, and make some other man who was well able to defend us our King; for, as long as but a hundred of us remain alive, never will we on any conditions be brought under English rule. It is in truth not for glory, nor riches, nor h

Yes, I'm sorry to say, I have only 13 days left to my Kaspersky Internet Security. And I can't afford a new copy, and probably won't be able to afford a new copy for another several months. So that means, in 13 days from now, unless I can find a means to pay for a new copy, I will likely be unable to safely use my PC for online activities.

heyyy where've you been?:) feels like i've not seen you in ages:P
I know. I'm sorry.

I have been working on your stories, that's for sure.

But I've been a little down as of late. Things have been... "unsteady"... between me and Lissi. They're improving, now, but still uncertain. But I've been in a really bad way, emotionally, ever since. Also, things are quite rocky with my nephew situation, too.

I'm doing my best. And work continues on your story, between work on my own novel from time to time, trying to mend things with Lissi, and trying to fend off my urges towards insomnia and emotional eating. (I really think I was supposed to have been a girl ._. )

Just feels like I'm crumbling, some days.

I'll be okay, though. Gotta stay strong. As my clan motto says, "dulcius ex asperis"; Latin for "sweeter after difficulties".
